Italian printmaker and painter from within the circle of Marcantonio Raimondi. Bonasone is credited with both original and reproductive prints, most often after the works of Michelangelo, Raphael, Giulio Romano and Parmigianino. He often combined engraving and etching in his oeuvre of 400+ works.
