In this print, John Bull, the British equivalent of Uncle Sam, is shocked to find numerous ‘piglets’ suckling his already exhausted sow. The greedy claimants are clamoring to reach a teat of the United Kingdom and are sure to suck it dry, making the nation vulnerable to ‘Boney’, slang for Napoleon.
