Parmigianino’s art was an essential ingredient in the eclectic, sophisticated style of painting developed by several members of the Campi family in mid sixteenth-century Cremona. Its influence is especially clear in the early work of Antonio Campi, and manifests itself in his production of a number of woodcuts after designs by the artist.
