Blanton Museum of Art, The University of Texas at Austin, Archer M. Huntington Museum Fund, 2000
Zanetti was an important collector of drawings and an amateur printmaker. This exquisite chiaroscuro not only reproduces one of his own Parmigianinos, but revives the technique with which the earliest reproductions of the master’s drawings were associated.
